2015 was a very positive year for us at Century 21 Horizon West Realty. As I reflect back, this was the year my vision for the business started to come together since opening in 2013. This vision was achieved with help from my team of REALTORS and administrative staff through their professional dedication and work ethic toward the office and our clients.
I have always said that after the market bottom of 2013, we would see a flat but steady market for the next handful of years. Despite a sluggish economy, so far that outlook is proving itself true. 2015 sales (117) are slightly lower compared to 2014 sales (124). Short of any disastrous global implications, we can expect a similar outlook for 2016 with a target of 120 sales.
According to our Interface stats from SOREB, real estate sales at Century 21 Horizon West were up in 2015 by an amazing 73% compared to 2014. This was supported by the hard work and success of all the REALTORS in the office:
- Judy Klassen - Her experience and dedication to the real estate industry is unequaled. Her extensive background entails Brokerage, Property Management, and presidency of the South Okanagan Real Estate Board. Judy has embraced the Century 21 environment and provides valuable consultation to the team.
- Dean Stinson - His years of experience in the industry had him come full circle back to Century 21 where he has been a previous hall of fame inductee. Dean had greatly increased his sales again this year with us and he will receive the Masters Silver Award.
- Alanna Boisse - She has once again pushed herself to new sales heights proving her consistent success in the office. Alannah's genuine & positive attitude has helped her achieve the Masters Ruby award this year.
- Brenda Upton - Receiving financing from the banks these days can be an overwhelming and almost impossible process. That's why our in-house Mortgage Broker can be a huge advantage to our clients. Brenda has been a huge asset and is a part of our success as she offers invaluable advice to both her clients and our team.
Everyone has been key to the success of Century 21 Horizon West including our administrative team of Tanis Oliver and Christy Stein, who help keep the foundation steady with their hard work and excellent customer service on the front end. While leading the team and managing the business, my continued focus on property sales has lead me to a personal sales record this year as I will receive the Masters Emerald Award from Century 21. We have a wonderful group of professionals here at Century 21 Horizon West that is willing to work hard and efficiently for our clients. I am positive about our continued success in 2016 and thankful for the extended support from our clients and the community. We wouldn't be here without it.
